Trust and safety

How every DredgeCred deal is protected.

Escrowed funds, verified COIs, OEM warranty lookup, verified assets, credential portability, and an ops-backed dispute workflow — on every rental, sale, service, and placement. Not a premium add-on. Just how the platform works.

What every deal comes with

Eight layers of verifiable safety

Every layer is already live on the platform. Each deal inherits all eight by default.

Escrowed funds

Every rental, sale, and service invoice clears through Stripe Connect. Money is held until both parties agree the work is done. No wire-and-pray.

Verified Certificate of Insurance

COIs are uploaded, parsed, and checked against carrier lookup. Expired coverage pulls a counterparty from the eligible list before a deal clears.

Verified Asset badge

Listings linked to an active OEM warranty, a clean surveyor inspection, or a platform verification show a second badge alongside the operator DC Score.

OEM warranty lookup

Every registered warranty is queryable by serial number. Field techs and renters can see coverage before the boom lowers, not after the failure.

Dispute workflow

A five-stage process with evidence upload, mediation, and ops-backed arbitration. Every message and survey is timestamped and preserved in the ledger.

Operator Pledge

A seven-commitment pledge signed by every member. Break one, lose access. The pledge is what keeps everything else real.

Credential portability

USCG licenses, CDLs, TWIC, OSHA cards, and dredge certifications travel with the worker across employers. One wallet, signed PDFs, expiry alerts.

Provenance trail

Every asset carries a Carfax-style service history: repairs, surveys, ownership transfers, hours logs. Buyers see what the machine has actually been through.

Platform commitments

Four commitments that apply to every deal.

  1. 1

    Funds held until delivery

Buyers never release payment before the counterparty confirms the work is complete (or the window closes).

  2. 2

    Capped, transparent fees

No surprise add-ons. Platform fees are displayed before either party agrees to the transaction.

  3. 3

    Ops-backed arbitration

A human operator reviews every escalated dispute. No algorithmic black box deciding who gets paid.

  4. 4

    Data portability

Your data is yours. Export any time.

Every deal, same standard.

The eight layers above are the baseline — not a premium tier, not an upsell. Escrow, verified COIs, dispute workflow, and everything else apply to every member and every transaction from day one.
